Job summary

Swanton Care & Community Ltd in Pontypridd is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide practical assistance and emotional support to the people we support in our residential home. You will help them achieve daily goals and participate in activities aligned to their individual support plans.

The role requires empathy, reliability and a valid UK driving licence. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) based in Rhydfelin, Pontypridd, with a supportive team and values-driven culture

Qualifications

Experience of supporting people with learning disabilities or complex care preferred, but training provided.
Must hold a valid UK driving licence.
Enthusiastic, compassionate and committed to respecting dignity.

Responsibilities

Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower the people we support to achieve goals and aspirations.
Promote health, well-being and inclusive practices.
Facilitate social, educational or work activities chosen by the individuals.
Carry out general housekeeping and personal care tasks as needed.
Complete a range of records and documents as part of the role.
