Job summary

HRString is a well-established independent domiciliary care provider, currently recruiting for the role of care support workers in the UK. You will perform health-care tasks, bedside and personal care, and support meals and household duties while maintaining confidentiality and dignity for service users.

Essential: valid right to work in the UK. Previous care experience is welcomed; training will be provided. Strong communication, compassion, and safeguarding mindset are expected.

Qualifications

• Residence in the UK with valid right to work.
• Previous care experience welcomed; training provided.
• Personal Care, Communication Skills, Compassion and Empathy, Safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Perform health-care related tasks, such as monitoring vital signs and medication, under the direction of registered nurses and physiotherapists.
• Administer bedside and personal care, such as ambulation and personal hygiene assistance.
• Advise, support and/or attend in the appropriate personal care of Service Users
• Advise, support and or undertake the planning, preparation, cooking and serving of meals
• Support or undertake household duties such as washing & ironing etc.
• Maintain Service Users confidentiality, respect, privacy and dignity always
• Prepare and maintain records of client progress and services performed, reporting changes in client condition to manager or supervisor.
