Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is seeking compassionate Bank Support Practitioners to assist adults with disabilities in daily living, including medication support and finances, within a caring service. Training will be provided, including a fully funded SVQ, to help you grow in social care.

You will support residents in all aspects of daily life, from meals to personal care, and you will engage in activities and outings that promote independence and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Empathetic, caring approach to supporting adults with disabilities.
• Strong observation and listening skills to respond to needs.
• Clear verbal and written communication with individuals and team.
• Basic computer use for records and scheduling.
• Ability to work well in teams and independently.
• Good organisational skills to manage daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living, including medication support and managing finances.
• Help with housework, meal preparation, cooking and personal care.
• Support participation in hobbies, outings and group activities.
• Provide training and follow procedures to ensure safety and PVG compliance.
