Job summary

Gloucester Charities Trust in Gloucester is seeking two Care & Support Assistants for Guild House. Each post is 30 hours per week, with pay at £13.80 per hour, rising to £14.10 after medication training and an additional £1.00 per hour at weekends.

The role provides high-quality personal care in a warm, person-centred setting for older people, with opportunities for training and development. Interviews are arranged with applicants.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality personal care and support to residents.
• Assist with daily living activities including dressing, bathing and meals.
• Encourage independence, choice and participation in activities.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
• Maintain accurate records in line with requirements.
• Support residents living with dementia and other age-related conditions.
• Promote safeguarding, health and safety and infection prevention.
