Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group in Rugby is seeking a Care Assistant to provide compassionate personal care and support to residents. You will help with hygiene, promote independence, and monitor health risks to escalate promptly, while maintaining dignity and respect in daily routines.

Training is provided; DBS checks are required. The role supports a safe care environment, following established procedures and contributing to high-quality resident care within the home.

Qualifications

• Good communication and writing abilities.
• Shows initiative and respect toward residents.
• Work efficiently and follow instructions from team members.
• Flexible to cover short-notice tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of personal care and support continuity of care for residents
• Assist residents with personal hygiene while promoting independence, dignity and respect
• Recognise clinical risks such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls risk and signs of infection, and accelerate them promptly
• Act courteously towards residents and their visitors
• Follow safe systems of work across the range of tasks
