Avery Healthcare is hiring a Care Assistant to deliver high standards of personal care and support the care team in providing continuous services to residents. You will assist with personal hygiene, promoting independence, dignity and respect in every interaction.

The role requires recognizing risks such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls, and infections, escalating issues promptly. A DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK are required, with induction and training provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrate initiative and be respectful toward residents and staff.
• Be an efficient worker capable of following reasonable instructions.
• Remain adaptable to cover a range of responsibilities on short notice.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high standards of personal care and support continuity of services for residents.
• Assist residents with personal hygiene, promoting independence, dignity and respect.
• Recognise clinical risk areas (weight loss, pressure ulcers, falls, infections) and escalate risks promptly.
• Act courteously toward residents and visitors, respecting dignity and individuality.
• Follow safe systems of work across tasks.
