Job summary

The Ashton Care Home in Hinckley is seeking a devoted Care Assistant to support residents with daily living, personal care and mobility. You will help ensure dignity, comfort and wellbeing while following individual care plans and contributing to a warm, respectful environment.

Roles are open to experienced carers or those new to care, with full training and ongoing development provided. Weekend work is required on an alternate basis.

Qualifications

• Caring and compassionate approach.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• NVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living requirements including personal care, mobility and nutrition.
• Support residents with emotional wellbeing and dignity, following care plans.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment and log changes in residents' condition.
• Collaborate with the care team, ensuring consistency and continuity of care.
