Job summary

Help at Home is recruiting Care Assistants to support service users across Hinckley and surrounding areas. You’ll work in people’s homes, delivering compassionate, person-centred care and building trusted relationships.

We offer guaranteed hours, funded NVQ/Diploma Level 2 & 3 qualifications, and flexible shift patterns including early and late shifts. Local work with paid mileage and a supportive team make this a rewarding role.

Qualifications

• Hold at least 6 months of social care experience.
• Right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship not available.
• Willingness to travel between clients within the local community.
• Compassion, empathy and a proactive approach to high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential care in clients' homes following personalised care plans.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming).
• Assist with medication preparation and safe administration.
• Support mobility and use of aids; assist with rehabilitation after hospital stays.
• Prepare meals and snacks; provide mealtime support.
• Carry out light domestic duties and housekeeping tasks.
• Offer companionship and build meaningful relationships.
• Promote independence, dignity, and choice in care.
• Monitor health and report changes to supervisors.
