Job summary

Crystal Care Collection is seeking a caring and dedicated Care Assistant to support residents in daily living, helping with personal care, meals, and activities to promote independence and happiness.

You will work in a supportive team, upholding dignity, privacy, and safety while documenting care and coordinating with healthcare professionals. Training included, with a rolling rota and various part-time or full-time options.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, person-centred care tailored to each resident's individual needs.
• Support residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition and hydration while promoting dignity and independence.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, providing companionship and emotional support.
• Encourage and assist residents to participate in activities and hobbies that enhance their wellbeing.
• Monitor residents' physical and mental wellbeing, promptly reporting any concerns and maintaining accurate care records.
• Respect and maintain confidentiality of all resident information at all times.
• Support residents to attend appointments and outings where required.
• Help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment, including light housekeeping duties and assisting with bedroom preparation.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive, supportive and caring atmosphere throughout the home.
• Comply with Health & Safety, COSHH, Infection Prevention & Control and all relevant health and social care legislation.
• Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role as directed by the General Manager.
