Job summary

Crystal Care Collection in Eastbourne is seeking Bank Care Assistants to provide compassionate, person-centred support to residents, helping them maintain independence with dignity. You will assist with personal care, meals and activities, building meaningful relationships and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment.

Shifts include days, evenings, and nights with generous training and DBS checks funded by the employer.

Qualifications

• Kind, compassionate and genuinely enjoys helping others.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, positive and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Calm and professional under pressure.
• Previous care experience is desirable but not essential; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred care tailored to each resident's needs.
• Assist with personal care, mobility, nutrition and hydration while promoting dignity.
• Build relationships, provide companionship and emotional support.
• Encourage participation in activities and hobbies to enhance wellbeing.
• Monitor residents' wellbeing and report concerns; maintain care records.
• Respect and maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Support residents to attend appointments and outings.
• Help with light housekeeping and bedroom preparation.
• Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, caring home environment.
• Follow Health & Safety, COSHH and infection prevention guidelines.
