Job summary

Crystal Care Collection in Marchwood is seeking caring Care Assistants to provide high-quality support to residents and help maintain their independence with dignity and respect.

You will assist with personal care, meals and activities while promoting a warm, safe home environment and compassionate companionship. Training is provided, with a clear pathway to ongoing development within a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, person-centred care tailored to each resident's individual needs.
• Support residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition and hydration while promoting dignity and independence.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, providing companionship and emotional support.
• Encourage and assist residents to participate in activities and hobbies that enhance their wellbeing.
• Monitor residents' physical and mental wellbeing, promptly reporting any concerns and maintaining accurate care records.
• Respect and maintain confidentiality of all resident information at all times.
• Support residents to attend appointments and outings where required.
• Help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment, including light housekeeping duties and assisting with bedroom preparation.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive, supportive and caring atmosphere throughout the home.
• Comply with Health & Safety, COSHH, Infection Prevention & Control and all relevant health and social care legislation.
• Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role as directed by the General Manager.
