McCarthy & Stone are recruiting a Care Assistant to join the team at Market House in Wimborne, Dorset. Built in 2024, Market House provides Retirement Living Plus for residents over 70, with on-site facilities and beautiful grounds.

You will deliver housekeeping and personal care, support activities, book appointments, arrange transport, and help residents stay active and connected. The role is on-site with two shift patterns; hourly rate is £13.70 with up to £1.30 extra for evenings and

• Experience in care or support environment preferred.
• Passion for wellbeing of older people and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide housekeeping and domestic support across the estate, including apartment cleans.
• Support residents with activities to promote health and wellbeing.
• Help residents book appointments and arrange transport.
• Assist with shopping and accompany residents as needed.
