McCarthy & Stone are recruiting a Care Assistant to join the team at Lady Susan Court in Basingstoke, Hampshire. You will deliver personal and domestic care to residents, including housekeeping and helping with activities to support health and wellbeing.

The role offers an hourly rate of £13.26, with up to £1.30 extra for evening and weekend hours, across a 24-hour per week schedule. A QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred, with full training and supportive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Warm, friendly approach to residents.
• Experience in care or support environment preferred.
• Passion for wellbeing of older people and good customer service.
• Team involvement in busy work environment.

Responsabilités

• Provide high quality personal and domestic care to residents.
• Deliver housekeeping and apartment cleans across the estate.
• Assist residents to book appointments and arrange transport; escort when needed.
• Support residents’ activities for health and wellbeing; assist with shopping.
