Job summary

McCarthy & Stone are recruiting a Care Assistant to join the team at our Roswell Court development in Exmouth, Devon. The role involves delivering high-quality care, housekeeping, and support to residents in a Retirement Living Plus community.

You will help residents with appointments, transport, and activities to support wellbeing, while delivering excellent customer service in a busy team setting. QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a care or support environment is preferred.
• Passion for wellbeing and happiness of older people.
• Driven to deliver excellent customer service.
• QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 2 or equivalent qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide housekeeping and domestic support across the general estate, including apartment cleans.
• Help residents with appointments, arrange transport, and escort visits when necessary.
• Encourage residents to take part in activities that support health and wellbeing.
• Assist with shopping and other daily tasks as needed.
