Job summary

Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust (JRHT) is seeking compassionate care assistants to join New Lodge in New Earswick, serving residents aged 55 and over. You will support daily living tasks and nurture independence in a warm, inclusive environment.

Shifts run from 7:00am to 8:30pm with a typical 25-hour pattern for part-time roles. A DBS check and 6 months care experience are required, with the right to work in the UK as non-sponsorable for Tier 2.

Qualifications

• Right to Work in the UK is required.
• DBS check is required.
• Care experience of at least 6 months.
• Tier 2 sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily tasks to promote independence.
• Provide companionship and support to residents and relatives.
• Be a familiar face and communicate effectively with the team.
