Job summary

Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust (JRHT) is seeking compassionate care assistants to join New Lodge in New Earswick, serving residents aged 55 and over. You will support daily living tasks and nurture independence in a warm, inclusive environment.

Shifts run from 7:00am to 8:30pm with a typical 25-hour pattern for part-time roles. A DBS check and 6 months care experience are required, with the right to work in the UK as non-sponsorable for Tier 2.

New Lodge is a thriving community in New Earswick that provides care accommodation for people aged 55 and over: it is a sanctuary for those looking to lead independent lives. Shift Patterns

Shifts at New Lodge are from 7:00am to 8:30pm, including a 1 hour break. Part-time roles are typically 2 shifts per week (25 hours).

Essential Requirements

• Right to Work – sponsorship is not available for these roles, you must have the legal right to work in the UK
• DBS – these roles will be subject to a successful DBS check that covers regulated activity
• Care experience – at least 6 months experience providing personal care and support in a paid or voluntary care setting
