Qualifications

• Effective verbal and written communication required.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and show respect towards residents.
• Efficient worker able to follow reasonable instructions from other team members.
• Flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene to maintain independence, dignity and respect.
• Recognise clinical risk areas in residents such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, sign of infections and escalate identified risks promptly.
• Act courteously towards residents and their visitors, upholding dignity and individuality.
• Practise safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
