Job summary

Avery Healthcare seeks a Care Assistant for Lavender Lodge Care Home in Hampshire. You will deliver high standards of personal care, support independence and dignity, and work within a compassionate, award-winning team.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrate initiative and be respectful towards residents and others in the home.
• Be able to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of personal care and contribute to the care team to ensure continuity of services.
• Assist residents with all personal hygiene care, promoting independence, dignity and respect.
• Recognise clinical risk areas (weight loss, pressure sores, falls, infections) and escalate risks promptly.
• Treat residents and visitors courteously and maintain dignity at all times.
