Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group Ltd in Hinckley is recruiting a Care Assistant for Hinckley House Care Home to deliver personal care and support the care team. No prior experience is required as an induction and training programme is provided. Applicants must pass a DBS check and prove their right to work in the UK.

You will help residents with daily living, maintain dignity and independence, and work within a supportive team to ensure consistent, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• DBS check required (cost met by employer)
• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of personal care to residents
• Contribute fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services
• Assist residents with personal hygiene, promoting independence, dignity and respect
• Recognise and report clinical risks (weight loss, pressure sores, falls, infection) promptly
• Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting dignity and individuality
• Practise safe systems of work across tasks
