Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for Hinckley House Care Home in Leicester. You will deliver high standards of personal care within a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

You will work alongside the care team to monitor wellbeing, implement person-centred care plans, support residents with medications, and participate in staff development. DBS disclosure and eligibility to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• Have 2 years’ experience working in similar care environment.
• Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Have a positive attitude to both supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
• Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.

Responsabilités

• Monitor the wellbeing of residents and update care plans as needed.
• Participate in person-centred care planning and monthly evaluations.
• Support residents with medication requirements.
• Undertake staff supervisions and support staff development.
• Act as main contact for residents, families and health professionals; escalate concerns.
