Job summary

Greensleeves Care is recruiting a Care Assistant to provide compassionate, person-centred support across our care homes in England. You will help residents with daily living, maintain dignity and independence, and follow the company values of respect, openness and responsibility.

The role offers paid DBS, learning opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package. UK-based applicants only, with a focus on compassionate care for older adults.

Qualifications

• Understanding the needs of residents
• Understanding the importance of confidentiality
• QCF diploma in care level 2 or equivalent (Desirable)
• Experience of providing care (Desirable)

Responsibilities

• Give support and care to the residents while maintaining their rights to independence, privacy, dignity and choice.
• Assist residents who require help to dress/undress, wash, and bath and use the toilet.
• Assist residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities including the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
• Assist residents who need help with personal hygiene (e.g., incontinence).
• Promote and adhere to Greensleeves Care workplace values of respect, openness and responsibility.
