Greensleeves Care is seeking a caring Care Assistant to support residents in 24-hour residential, dementia and nursing care across our England homes. You will help residents maintain independence, dignity and privacy while assisting with daily living.

The role also emphasizes respecting residents' preferences and needs and upholding confidentiality. A comprehensive benefits package includes holidays, pension, DBS, and learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• An understanding of the needs of residents
• An understanding of the importance of confidentiality
• QCF diploma in care level 2 or the equivalent (Desirable)
• Experience of providing care (Desirable)
• Experience of working with elders (Desirable)

Responsabilités

• Give support and care to the residents whilst maintaining their rights to independence, privacy, dignity and choice and assist in their daily living.
• Assist residents who require help to dress/undress, wash, and bath and use the toilet.
• Assist residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities including the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
• Assist residents who need help with personal hygiene e.g. incontinence.
• Promote and adhere to the Greensleeves Care -Workplace values of respect, openness and responsibility.
