Job summary

Greensleeves Care in England is hiring a Care Assistant to support residents with daily living while upholding independence, privacy and dignity. The role involves helping with dressing, bathing and mobility, and using assistive devices as needed.

Qualifications

• QCF diploma in care level 2 or the equivalent (Desirable)
• Experience of providing care (Desirable)
• Experience of working with elders (Desirable)

Responsibilities

• Give support and care to the residents whilst maintaining their rights to independence, privacy, dignity and choice and assist in their daily living.
• Assist residents who require help to dress/undress, wash, and bath and use the toilet.
• Assist residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities including the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
• Assist residents who need help with personal hygiene e.g. incontinence.
• Promote and adhere to the Greensleeves Care -Workplace values of respect, openness and responsibility.
