Job summary

Pulse Nursing at Home is seeking a compassionate Healthcare Assistant Support Worker in Bournemouth to support a 5-year-old client with complex needs. The role involves personal care, medications, and engagement to promote independence and quality of life.

You will work closely with the family and other professionals, on a schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training will be provided, with DBS checks and safeguarding in place.

Qualifications

• 6 months care experience within the last 2 years (UK based).
• Experience supporting individuals with complex care needs including brain/spinal injuries, disabilities, and neurological conditions.
• Driver is required due to location of client.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical and emotional support to service users.
• Administer medications, and complete manual handling.
• Working with clinical interventions.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care where required.
• Promote independence, dignity, choice, and inclusion.
• Build positive and professional relationships with service users, families, and colleagues.
