Job summary

Pulse Nursing at Home in Portsmouth is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist with daily activities and promote independence for a client in their own home.

You will provide personal care, administer medications, and support clinical interventions, including dealing with a home environment that includes a dog. Training will be provided to handle these duties safely and professionally.

Qualifications

• 6 months care experience within the last 2 years.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays if required.
• Driver required – able to drive clients’ large van.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical and emotional support to service users.
• Administer medications and complete manual handling.
• Work with clinical interventions on shift.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care.
• Promote independence, dignity, choice and inclusion.
• Build positive and professional relationships with service users, families and colleagues.
