Job summary

Evolve Staffing Ltd is seeking compassionate Band 2 Healthcare Assistants to join care teams across Winkton, Dorset and surrounding areas. You will provide person-centred care in care homes, nursing homes, and dementia facilities, supporting residents with daily living activities.

This role offers flexible shifts, competitive pay, and quick registration. You will work to maintain dignity, safety, and comfort for elderly residents, including those with dementia, in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months UK care home experience (Care Assistant, Carer or HCA).
• Care Certificate or NVQ/QCF Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care preferred.
• Practical skills in manual handling, dementia care, personal care and safeguarding adults.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred care and daily living assistance.
• Assist residents with mobility using equipment per care plans.
• Support residents during meals and monitor dietary needs; maintain logs.
• Maintain clean, safe environments and assist with shift handovers.
