Choices Homecare is seeking Care Assistants to support clients across the Doncaster and Rotherham regions. The role offers flexible full-time and part-time hours with a rate of pay of £13.65 per hour.

Mileage allowance is provided and genuine career progression is available through the Optimo Learning Academy. Rotas are provided in advance on a 2-week rolling pattern, with full training offered, so experience is welcome but not essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring, compassionate and positive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to putting people first in all interactions.
• Willingness to work alternative weekends.
• UK driving licence and access to own vehicle for some routes.

Responsabilités

• Assist with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting).
• Support with medication administration and accurate documentation.
• Prepare meals and support eating and drinking.
• Encourage independence and daily living tasks.
• Build positive relationships with service users and families.
• Maintain records and communicate with colleagues and supervisors.
• Keep the home environment clean, safe and comfortable.
• Respect confidentiality and professional boundaries.
