Job summary

Penrose Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, in Biggleswade, is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to provide person-centred care for up to 65 residents.

The role covers personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, with full training and ongoing development. A supportive team environment helps residents feel respected, safe and valued.

We offer competitive pay, overtime rates, and 5.6 weeks annual leave, plus a uniform and DBS support.

Qualifications

• Care experience is beneficial but not essential.
• NVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow care plans and recognise changes in condition to provide safe, responsive care.
• Work as part of a supportive team to create a warm environment where residents feel valued.
