Job summary

Bupa Brunswick Court in Watford is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to support residents with daily activities and personalised care. You will work as part of a team to provide companionship, assist with personal care, and help residents maintain independence in a supportive environment.

The role includes ensuring nutrition, hydration, and engagement through activities, with a focus on reporting changes in residents’ conditions in line with care regulations.

Qualifications

• Motivation, positivity, and great interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Desirable: Previous experience in a care home environment or a Health and Social Care qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with companionship and personal care.
• Observe and manage residents' behaviour with care and ensure to document and report any changes in accordance with the required legislation.
• Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.
• Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
• Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory & legal requirements.
