Job summary

Bridge Oak Care Homes in Bedford is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Care Assistant to join Blakelands Lodge. We offer permanent full-time and part-time shifts, with morning or evening hours and a competitive hourly rate of £13.45.

You’ll support residents with daily living, promote dignity and comfort, and help create a welcoming, home-like community. Previous care experience is nice but personality and values matter most.

Qualifications

• Available to work some evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living activities, including washing and dressing, while maintaining dignity.
• Assist with physical, emotional and spiritual care needs as required.
• Monitor mobility and use of aids, and aid continence promotion.
• Record daily care notes and follow care plans and policies.
• Engage in social activities and accompany residents in hobbies and events.
