Job summary

Highgate Care is seeking a Care Assistant for Beechwood Care Centre in Bridlington. The role is permanent, full‑time (33 hours per week) with occasional evenings and weekends, and pays £12.77 per hour. Sponsorship is not available.

You will provide person‑centred care, maintain residents’ dignity, and support activities in a warm, friendly environment within a small care group. Join us to help residents thrive with kindness and dedication.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with washing, toileting, dressing, and daily living.
• Support physical, emotional and spiritual needs while maintaining dignity.
• Assist residents with limited mobility and use of aids.
• Monitor residents who are confused or have behavioural issues.
• Record daily notes and follow care plans and policies.
• Support social activities and engage residents in hobbies.
• Answer nurse calls, doors, and phone promptly and relay messages.
• Report well‑being to senior staff and perform regular checks.
• Make visitors feel welcome and provide refreshments as needed.
• Keep rooms clean, beds made, and equipment maintained.
