Job summary

Darcy House Care Home in Matlock, Derbyshire, part of Care Concern Group, is hiring a Care Assistant to join our brand-new residential, nursing and dementia care home for 78 residents. We offer day and night shifts, full or part-time contracts, and comprehensive training.

You will deliver person-centred care, support daily living activities, follow care plans, and contribute to a warm, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• A caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A reliable and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
• NVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow care plans and recognise changes in condition to ensure safe, responsive and respectful care.
• Work as part of a supportive team to create a warm, positive environment where individuals feel valued.
• Deliver high quality, person-centred care to promote dignity, independence and wellbeing.
• Willingness to learn and take on training; some roles may require alternate weekends.
