Derbyshire County Council is recruiting a Care Worker to help residents lead dignified lives in a community setting. You will assist with daily activities, support mental and physical well-being, and contribute to a positive, safe, and respectful environment.

No prior experience is required as training and mentoring are provided, with a rotating shift pattern including days, afternoons, and nights, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with washing and dressing, eating meals, personal care and medications.
• Provide social support and engagement to promote well-being and happiness.
• Support residents with dementia and other needs, respecting dignity and privacy.
• Follow care plans and reporting requirements to the care team.
