Job summary

Care Concern Group's Darcy House Care Home in Matlock, Derbyshire, is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to provide person-centred care for our residents in a luxury 78-bed setting.

You'll assist with daily living, follow care plans, and work as part of a friendly team to ensure dignity, independence and wellbeing, with full training and development offered. The role includes alternate weekends, a supportive environment and progression opportunities within a growing company.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.
• Caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop; experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living, personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow care plans to deliver safe, responsive and consistent care.
• Work as part of a supportive team to create a warm, respectful environment.
• Participate in training and ongoing development.
