CrossReach is seeking a Care Worker to support older residents in our care home, helping them live safely, comfortably and with dignity each day. You will provide practical care, companionship, and encouragement to maintain independence and quality of life.

We value compassion and teamwork; PVG scheme and SSSC registration are required, with SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare preferred or in progress. Induction and ongoing training are provided.

Formación

• Experience in care welcomed but not essential.
• Willingness to learn and support others.
• Must pursue/hold SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare; PVG membership and SSSC registration required.

Responsabilidades

• Support residents with personal care and daily living activities
• Assist with meals and encourage good nutrition and hydration
• Promote independence, choice and wellbeing
• Encourage participation in activities and social opportunities
• Build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues
• Provide companionship, reassurance and emotional support
• Maintain accurate records and follow care procedures and best practice
