Job summary

Broomgrove Trust Nursing Home in Sheffield is seeking a Care Assistant on days to join our 40-bed unit. You will work under the direction of the Registered Nurse, delivering high quality, person-centred care with our friendly team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year care experience in UK.
• Professional, friendly attitude and good communication.
• Ability to follow staff values and report to supervising nurse.
• Understanding of care regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with total care of residents and families, integrating physical, psychological and spiritual needs.
• Report changes to supervising registered nurse.
• Maintain a safe clinical environment and report safety issues to the Nurse in Charge.
• Use resources efficiently within the clinical area and report incidents as per policy.
• Deliver high standard of person-centred care in line with home policies and procedures.
