Job summary

Hill Care is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant (Bank) to support Residents in our Residential home, assisting with daily living and ensuring comfort and well-being.

The role involves a wide range of duties including personal care, meal assistance, activity support, and accurate record-keeping, all under supervision of senior staff. A strong caring ethos and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in working within a caring environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Team player.
• Willingness to participate in Vocational Training Programmes.
• Satisfactory Police Check and check against the POVA List (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Assist with washing, toileting, dressing, undressing and daily living.
• Support residents with physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
• Monitor residents with limited mobility and safety concerns.
• Assist in meal times and serving of food/drinks.
• Keep care planning records and daily logs as required.
• Support social activities and hobbies in the Care Home.
• Respond to Nursecall system and incoming messages promptly.
• Report well-being concerns to senior staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of rooms and equipment.
• Ensure privacy and dignity for residents at all times.
