Job summary

Hill Care in the United Kingdom is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant (Bank) to support residents with daily living, personal care and companionship in our residential home. You will follow care plans, maintain dignity and privacy, and work as part of a friendly team to ensure residents feel safe and valued.

You’ll assist with washing, dressing, meals, mobility and social activities, and you will report on wellbeing and keep simple records under supervision.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in working within a caring environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Team player; willing to participate in vocational training.
• Satisfactory Police Check and POVA list checks where applicable.
• Relevant vocational qualification (achieved/working towards).
• Experience with the relevant client group.

Responsibilities

• Assist with washing, toileting, dressing and daily living activities.
• Support physical, emotional and spiritual care while maintaining dignity.
• Assist residents with mobility and continence where needed.
• Monitor residents and follow care plans; document daily notes.
• Assist during meals, escort to activities and maintain a clean environment.
