Job summary

Agincare Weymouth operates Rochester Care Home, delivering person-centred care to residents in a warm, supportive environment. The role requires kindness, reliability and a genuine wish to help others, with shifts from 8am to 8pm and a 36-hour week including alternating weekends.

Candidates must have the right to work in the UK for at least 12 months, and prior care-home experience is preferred. We offer funded training and career development within a respected national provider.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK (we cannot currently offer sponsorship)
• Care Assistant to work 36 hours per week from 8am to 8pm to include working alternative weekends
• Previous experience working within a care home is required

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality personal care and support to residents.
• Assist with medication administration and recording.
• Support residents with daily living activities and routines.
• Build meaningful relationships and provide companionship.
• Help enrich residents' lives through activities, hobbies, and social engagement.
• Promote residents' dignity, independence, and well-being.
• Work as part of a caring team to deliver outstanding person-centred care.
