Job summary

Agincare in Rochester is recruiting a Care Assistant to provide compassionate, person‑centred care to residents. The role offers 36 hours per week, with shifts from 8am to 8pm and alternating weekends, in a supportive care home environment.

We provide fully funded training up to QCF Level 5 and strong career development. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK (sponsorship not offered) and prior care home experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have 12+ months right to work in the UK (sponsorship not offered).
• 36 hours per week, 8:00–20:00 to include alternating weekends.
• Previous care home experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality personal care and support to residents.
• Assist with medication administration and recording.
• Support residents with daily living activities and routines.
• Build meaningful relationships and provide companionship.
• Help enrich residents' lives through activities, hobbies, and social engagement.
• Promote residents' dignity, independence, and well-being.
• Work as part of a caring team to deliver outstanding person-centred care.
