Job summary

Bupa Richmond Village Northampton is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to deliver high-quality, person-centred care in a luxurious retirement setting. You’ll follow care plans, support daily living activities, and collaborate with a compassionate team to ensure residents feel safe and valued.

The role requires 12-hour shifts and some weekends on a rotating rota. A thorough induction, ongoing training, and access to apprenticeships are provided to help you grow in your career with us.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with a high standard of clinical, social and emotional care.
• Recognise and meet the specific needs of residents
• Answer emergency bells or calls from residents, assess the situation, and summon the senior care staff when needed
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including meal preparation, washing, dressing, toileting and personal hygiene as documented in their care plan
• Help residents with mobility, transferring using equipment and caring for aids and personal equipment
• Provide companionship and personal care and support residents with varying needs
• Communicate with residents’ families, friends and other healthcare professionals
