Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking female Support Workers to join a 2:1 package supporting a young woman with ABI in Rainham, Essex. You will help her stay active, engaged and connected to her community while supporting her independence.

Shifts are Tue–Fri 7:00am–6:00pm and support is provided at both family homes. Candidates should be patient, positive, resilient, and able to manage distress calmly, with a full UK driving licence preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) preferred, but the right attitude matters.
• Must have a full UK driving licence.
• Patience, positivity and genuine care are essential.
• Ability to stay calm and reassuring during distressed moments.

Responsibilities

• Support a 2:1 package for a young woman with ABI, helping her stay active and engaged.
• Assist with daily activities, outings and community involvement.
• Keep her dignity, independence and individuality at the forefront.
• Be patient and calm when she becomes distressed and work with family needs.
