Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking female Support Workers to join a 2:1 package for a young woman with ABI in Rainham, Essex. You’ll help her stay active, engaged and connected to her community, both at home and at her dad’s home.

The role requires calm, resilient individuals who can manage distress with empathy, a good sense of humour and patience. A full UK driving licence is preferred; DBS check and induction training are provided. Pay up to £18.00/hour with a stable schedule and Nest pension.

Qualifications

• Experience of Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) preferred.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
• Genuine care, patience and proactive attitude required.

Responsibilities

• Support the client to stay active, engaged and connected to her community.
• Manage distressed moments in a calm, reassuring way.
• Contribute to planning and organising daily activities and outings.
