Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is recruiting a seasoned accountant to join a successful SME finance team in a broad, influential role. Reporting to the senior leadership, you will own the day-to-day finance function, produce timely management accounts, and support decision-making across multiple companies.

The role is on-site with a competitive salary and benefits. Experience producing management accounts, strong month-end knowledge, cash flow forecasting and VAT returns are essential.

Responsibilities

• Producing monthly and consolidated management accounts
• Managing month-end and year-end processes
• Preparing journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
• Managing cash flow forecasting, banking relationships and supplier payments
• Overseeing VAT returns, fixed assets and statutory reporting
• Liaising with auditors and finance providers
• Providing financial analysis and reporting to Directors and business owners

Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial information, maintaining strong controls, and supporting business decision-making across multiple companies.

Your new role Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function while producing timely and accurate financial reporting.

What you'll need to succeed You will be an experienced accountant with strong technical skills and the ability to work independently in a hands-on environment.

You will be comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders and managing a varied workload.

You'll ideally have: Experience producing management accounts Strong month-end and financial reporting knowledge Excellent reconciliation and analytical skills Cash flow, budgeting and forecasting experience A proactive and organised approach Experience with Sage 50 would be advantageous This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional seeking a broad role with autonomy, responsibility and direct exposure to senior decision-makers.

Please note that this is a 5 day a week on-site role.
