Job summary

North Hertfordshire District Council is offering an entry-level role in the Community Wellbeing Team. You will work towards a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration while helping to deliver programmes that promote physical activity, emotional wellbeing and food education.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen at North Herts Council for an entry-level position within the Community Wellbeing Team supporting programmes that enable our local communities to improve or maintain their health and wellbeing. Whilst working towards a Level 3 apprenticeship in Business Administration, you’ll gain experience assisting the team with interventions that encourage physical activity, emotional wellbeing and food education.

The Experience you will bring

You will need good interpersonal skills as well as being flexible, a team player, confident and able to converse with a range of people, including council colleagues and other professional partners and members of the public. You will want to work in busy and varied community settings and be hands on. You will also have excellent attention to detail to be able to support our communications, marketing, bookings systems, social media channels and website.
