Job summary
It is an exciting opportunity to join the Central Norfolk Youth Mental Health Service, which works with adolescents and young adults aged 14 to 25 years old.
Central Norfolk CFYP has dedicated significant time and effort to developing a youth pathway. Clinical Treatment Pathways are in place.
The Community Team Manager for Central Youth South will be responsible for the operational management of service delivery within the youth south team, working alongside the north team manager to support shared functions within the central youth service.
This role involves providing visible leadership, promoting a values-based culture, and acting as a role model within the environment.
The manager will lead and manage the team, ensuring they are properly trained, informed, and competent to carry out their duties, with clear processes for supervision, appraisal, and personal development planning.
Ensuring safe staffing levels according to the service budget and effective resource allocation for caseload management are also key responsibilities.
Delivering care within a patient-centered framework involving service users, families, and carers is essential.
To ensure the provision of a safe, caring, responsive, high-quality service to service users, their families, and carers by complying with statutory and regulatory requirements, trust policies, pathways, SOPs, and protocols.
The manager will allocate work within the team to optimize resource use, monitor team performance, and contribute to overall trust objectives.
Providing professional governance and leadership within their area is also a key aspect of the role.

Qualifications (Essential): RMN, Dip SW, Dip OT, or HCPC registered.
Experience (Essential): Demonstrated experience at a senior clinical level, including staff management and working within a multidisciplinary team, with evidence of leadership in mental health care and service development.
Skills (Essential): Competent treatment, care planning, assessment skills, excellent communication, IT skills, and ability to prioritize workload.
Knowledge (Essential): Knowledge of medication effects, psychosocial interventions, health promotion, and policies at local and national levels.
Additional requirements include UK professional registration, DBS clearance, and eligibility for Skilled Worker sponsorship.
