It is an exciting opportunity to join Central Norfolk Youth Mental Health Service, which works with adolescents and young adults aged 14 to 25 years old.
Central Norfolk CFYP has dedicated significant time and effort to develop a youth pathway. Clinical Treatment Pathways are in place.
The Community Team Manager for Central Youth South will be responsible for the operational management of service delivery within the youth south team, working alongside the north team manager to support shared functions within the central youth service.
This role involves providing visible leadership, promoting a values-based culture, and acting as a role model within the environment.
The manager will lead and manage the team, ensuring they are suitably trained, informed, and competent to carry out their duties. There will be clear processes for supervision, appraisal, objective setting, and personal development planning.
Responsibilities also include maintaining safe staffing levels according to the service budget, ensuring efficient caseload allocation, and resource management to keep caseloads safe.
The role requires ensuring care is delivered in a patient-centred framework involving service users, families, and carers, and that the service complies with statutory and regulatory requirements, trust policies, pathways, protocols, and procedures.
The manager will allocate work within the team to meet service users and carers' needs, monitor team performance, and contribute to the overall objectives of the Trust.
Additionally, they will provide professional governance and leadership within their area.
