Job summary

Sirona Care & Health in Bristol, North Somerset or South Gloucestershire is seeking compassionate therapy support workers to help deliver tailored interventions under qualified supervision.

You will work with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Registered Nurses, supporting daily living skills, monitoring progress, and contributing to a safe, patient-centered MDT environment. The service runs 8am–8pm, 7 days a week, with flexible hours and NHS benefits.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and patient with a strong desire to support others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an MDT.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with patients to deliver tailored therapy interventions under the guidance of qualified health care professionals (Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Registered Nurses).
• Support patients in developing and practicing skills for daily living and independence.
• Assist patients in setting realistic goals and motivate progress toward them.
• Monitor and record patients' progress using programmes such as EMIS and provide feedback to the MDT and lead health care professional.
• Promote a safe and supportive environment encouraging confidence and participation.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure holistic care and patient wellbeing.
• Encourage and facilitate community engagement and participation for patients.
