Job summary

Praxis Care is a leading provider of specialist care and support services. The role involves assisting adults with disabilities in the community, enabling independence and access to education and employment opportunities on the Isle of Man.

The Support Worker will work with Team Leaders to deliver person-centred plans, maintain accurate records, and uphold health and safety standards while supporting flexible working hours.

Qualifications

• Essential: Numeracy and literacy skills.
• Essential: Effective communication skills.
• Desirable: Experience in health and social care.

Responsibilities

• Support and empower individuals in the community to develop independent living skills.
• Collaborate with Team Leaders to implement individual and group support plans.
• Promote a safe working and living environment and manage challenging behaviour using appropriate methods.
• Ensure medication is stored and administered per policy when needed.
• Record and report information per guidelines and policies.
