Job summary

The YOU Trust in Eastleigh is hiring a Community Support Worker to help people live independently and with dignity. You will support daily activities, promote inclusion, and assist with personal care where needed.

Training is provided; a driving licence is essential for this role to enable transport and community access. Salary is £26,490 with a £1,500 Eastleigh MRA per year, and the role is permanent and full-time.

Community Support Worker

YOU is a registered charity that has been providing care, support and advice for over 30 years to vulnerable people, working across Hampshire, Dorset, West Sussex, Wiltshire, Somerset and the Isle of Wight to give them the tools and resources they need to live independent, secure and valued lives. We also maintain an in-house pool of sessional workers, which we refer to as the ‘Premier Crew’.

You’ll provide safe, person-centred support tailored to each individual’s needs, always promoting dignity, respect, and choice.

Some of the people we support may also require assistance with personal care, including bathing and toileting. Experience in this area is helpful, but not essential — if you bring the right attitude, compassion, and willingness to learn, we’ll provide the training and support you need.
